Dr. Natasha Beckum Ed.D., LPC, NCC
Hello! I go by many names including, Natasha, Ms. Natasha, Dr. Beckum, Dr. Natasha, or Dr. Tasha. I honestly have no preference. I'm a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Virginia and have been working in outpatient counseling settings for over ten years. I also have experience as an Intensive In-Home Counselor, Intake Assessor for Community-Based Services, In-Home Autism Support Counselor, and Assessment and Referral Clinician for Inpatient Hospitalization.
I absolutely love working with adolescents and young adults (Gen Z and Millennials). I also love providing counseling services to populations (predominantly minority communities) that have limited access to services, distrust the health care system, are struggling with mental health stigma, or are simply just hesitant to start treatment.
For those looking for a more formal introduction. Here you go!
Dr. Beckum is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Virginia who specializes in anxiety, depression, developmental/behavioral disorders, and trauma in black and brown communities. She has over a decade of experience directly working with, and educating, children, adults, and families with limited access to mental health services.
She believes that therapy is not “one size fits all,” and is trained in several evidenced-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Sensorimotor Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy.
She received her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from The College of William & Mary in 2011 and her Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed.) from Old Dominion University in 2013. She received her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Community Care and Counseling with a Specialization in Traumatology from Liberty University in 2023.

Keundra Miller
Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Resident (LMFT-R) in Virginia and a U.S. Navy veteran. My professional journey has included over 23 years of leadership and service in military and community settings, and now I get to bring that experience into the therapy room.
I love working with women in leadership, mothers balancing the demands of home and work, young adults navigating identity and transitions, and couples striving to strengthen their connection. My heart is for supporting clients who feel overwhelmed, burned out, or stretched too thin—and helping them find steady rhythms that allow space to breathe again.

Jadon Nava
Hi, I'm Jadon, a Resident in Counseling who enjoys working with young adults and adolescents (ages 14+). I have a special interest in helping clients navigate grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, and life's many transitions.
My counseling approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I enjoy helping clients understand not only what they're struggling with, but why. Together, we'll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck while also developing practical coping skills that canbring relief and help create lasting change.
As a Christian, my faith shapes the compassion and hope I bring into counseling. I welcome clients of all backgrounds and beliefs, and I respect each person's unique values. For those who desire it, I am happy to thoughtfully incorporate Christian faith into the counseling process.
I know reaching out for counseling isn't always easy. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and encouraged. If you're considering taking the next step, I'd be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
Currently accepting new clients, ages 14 and up.
